The News
The “New Financing Schemes in the Media Sector” workshop will be held at BIC LAZIO the 11 and 12 september.
The aim of this workshop and masterclass is to introduce media startups to new and current investment streams in the media sectors and to consider the ‘investment readiness’ of their business plans.
This initiative is organised within the i3 (Impact,Innovate,Invest), a European Commission funded project to support creative industries and social media convergence by shortening the gap from research through to market deployment.
The speakers will be Francesco Bellini, Nicola Fiore and Iana Dulskaia of Eurokleis.

The workshop was held at Spazio Attivo BIC Lazio of Roma Casilina (Via Casilina 3/T)
OUR 2 DAYS !
A great number of people attented the workshop and topics of great interest were dealt.
The workshop was broadcasted through live streaming.
FIRST DAY: LET’S BEGIN !
During the afternoon we analysed:
- the main steps relating to the companies life cycle and the necessary actions to put in place
- different financial instruments
In particular, thanks to relater Franco Petrucci, we learnt about how he managed to make his startup a success and the various advancements his start up is making.
Nicola Fiore deeply described all the actions necessary for an IPO.
BUSINESS MODEL…. ALL DAY LONG!!!
The focus of the second day was business modeling, in particular the Business Model Canvas.
During the morning, Francesco Bellini, described all the phases necessary to draw the business model Canvas.
BUSINESS GAME!!!
In the afternoon, we had a game jam, all the participants were divided into two teams and they had to create their own business model canvas.
