Work with us
We do not select people by keywords, but by the way they think, collaborate and grow.
Eurokleis is a boutique consultancy: we work in small multidisciplinary teams, on long-term projects, building solid and lasting professional relationships with our clients. For this reason we look for curious, autonomous and responsible people, who believe in the value of dialogue, in the diversity of viewpoints and in merit.
We do not look for standardised profiles: we value differences, invest in skills and offer inclusive, fair work environments oriented towards professional development.
Who we look for
Four characteristics that, in our experience, make a real difference in the long run. They are not formal requirements nor automatic filters: they are ways of approaching the consultancy profession, compatible with fair, inclusive work environments oriented towards people's growth.
Intellectual curiosity
We look for people who come alive when faced with a new problem — who dig deeper, study, and question their own solutions. In a boutique consultancy, domains change frequently: curiosity is not a bonus, it is what allows you to grow, create synergies, learn and generate value over time. It also means being able to integrate, with confidence, the tools that change the way we work — from generative AI to data analysis platforms — using them with critical judgement, not as shortcuts.
Quantitative attitude
Statistics, actuarial mathematics, finance, computer science, economics: the paths can be different. Titles in themselves do not matter, but familiarity with numbers, the ability to assess their reliability and to interpret them with critical sense. Our work is always grounded in data, even when the final outcome appears qualitative.
Technical honesty
Communicating transparently what is certain, what needs further investigation and what is not realistic, while properly managing client expectations and the dialogue within the team. It requires competence, responsibility and the ability to articulate the reasoning behind decisions: it is more demanding than accommodating consultancy, but it is the only kind that builds trust and solid professional relationships.
Continuity in relationships
Eurokleis grows through collaborations that last over time, not through isolated projects. We look for people who see consultancy as a gradual building of credibility, skills and relationships, in a context that values stability, dialogue and professional development.
How we work at Eurokleis
The everyday life of a boutique is different from that of an agency or a big firm. Five traits that define it.
The everyday life of a boutique consultancy means multiple projects in parallel, small teams, and more time spent with clients than on internal coordination. This means fewer hierarchies and more shared responsibility.
We work on continuing projects, not on episodic engagements. You will know clients by name and follow the evolution of strategic decisions over time. It is a different model from the project-based one of the big firms: less rotation, more accumulated knowledge, more professional continuity.
Teams normally consist of 2 or 3 people per project, rarely more. Everyone has full visibility on the work, direct access to the client and real influence over the decisions. There are no complex chains of delegation nor superfluous handovers: more autonomy, more learning, more growth.
Methodological autonomy is high. We do not apply a standardised method to every case: we share principles, rigour and responsibility, but each project adopts the methodology best suited to the problem at hand. Those who thrive here are not those looking for a manual to follow, but those who can build one together with the team.
We work from Rome and Milan, with flexibility on remote working. Relationships with clients often remain in person: long-term consultancy is also built through direct dialogue, informal moments and mutual trust, not only through calls.
We believe that the quality of work arises from the quality of the environment. For this reason, in addition to a Code of Ethics that articulates the principles guiding us, we hold UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for gender equality — not as a formal compliance exercise, but as a tool to measure ourselves and to improve.
Open positions
At Eurokleis we publish open positions when the real growth of projects or the need for specific skills makes it necessary. Our opportunities arise from a concrete evolution of the work: new contexts, new responsibilities, new professional trajectories to be built over time. This allows us to assess each appointment with care, transparency and consistency with the people and teams involved.
Open Senior Cross-functional Rome · Hybrid Full-time Senior IT Consultant — Processes, Security and Compliance
To support Italian mid-market clients — companies, industrial groups, utilities — on technology assessment, process optimisation, IT audit and NIS2.
Senior IT Consultant — Processes, Security and Compliance
To support Italian mid-market clients — companies, industrial groups, utilities — on technology assessment, process optimisation, IT audit and NIS2.
What you’ll do
You’ll work alongside Italian mid-market clients — companies, industrial groups, utilities — to assess and design their technology infrastructure, IT processes and security posture. Your most frequent activities will include:
- IT audit and gap analysis: you’ll analyse existing processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and produce assessments that are readable by CFOs, CIOs and boards — not just technical teams.
- Business-IT interface: you’ll translate business requirements into technology specifications and vice versa, taking part in clients’ strategic discussions as a long-term partner, not a task supplier.
- Solution and vendor assessment: technical due diligence on platforms, software and IT suppliers. You’ll help clients choose on objective criteria, free from commercial pressure.
- NIS2 compliance and security frameworks: the directive is now fully in force and our clients need to act. You’ll work on risk assessments, cybersecurity governance, control mapping and operational policies.
Who we’re looking for
Someone who speaks about technology with authority but is not — and does not want to be — a vertical specialist. A technology consultant, able to:
- Understand mid-market business processes and translate them into technology requirements
- Assess the reliability and sustainability of technical solutions without writing production code
- Argue technology choices in front of CFOs, CIOs and boards
- Work fluently with NIS2 and ISO 27001 regulatory frameworks (DORA and GDPR are a plus)
Prior experience: IT consulting, IT advisory roles in industry, technology PM, or a technical background that has evolved towards advisory work. 5+ years of experience.
What we offer
- Ongoing projects with Italian mid-market clients, not isolated assignments
- Small teams (2–3 people), high responsibility, direct contact with decision-makers
- Rome-based, with flexibility to work remotely
- Company culture formalised in a Code of Ethics · UNI/PdR 125:2022 certified
- Compensation aligned with the senior consulting market (agreed during the interview process)
