Candidate privacy notice
This notice is provided, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), to those who submit a job application to eurokleis s.r.l. It describes how candidates' personal data is processed.
Scope
This notice covers the personal data received at jobs@eurokleis.com, whether in response to open positions or through unsolicited applications.
Data controller
The data controller is eurokleis s.r.l., with registered office at Via dei Monti della Farnesina, 77 — 00135 Rome. For any request regarding personal data protection, please write to privacy@eurokleis.com.
Purposes of processing
The Controller processes candidates' data in order to assess the applications received and to carry out the selection of personnel.
Legal basis for processing
For applications submitted in response to an open position, processing is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
For unsolicited applications, processing takes place pursuant to Article 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The same provision applies to any special categories of data contained in the CV, for which the data subject's consent is not required.
In any case, we invite candidates not to include in their CV data that is not relevant to the application.
Provision of data
Provision of the data is optional, but necessary in order to assess the application. Failure to provide the data prevents the Controller from considering it.
Recipients of the data
Within eurokleis s.r.l., data is processed by HR staff together with the internal contacts involved in the selection. It may also be processed by technical service providers for email and IT infrastructure, appointed as data processors pursuant to Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Data is not communicated to third parties, nor is it disseminated.
Transfers outside the EEA
Candidates' data is processed within the European Economic Area. No personal data is transferred outside that area.
Data retention period
Data relating to unsuccessful applications is retained for 18 months from the date of receipt; once that period has expired, it is deleted.
Where an application results in hiring, the data becomes part of the personnel file.
Automated decision-making
Applications are not subject to any automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Consistently with what is stated on the Careers page, every application is assessed by people.
Data subject rights
Candidates have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of their data, receive it in a structured format (portability) and object to processing. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
To exercise these rights, please contact the Data Controller by writing to privacy@eurokleis.com.
