We are looking for:
ECFP700113 Junior Researcher The R&D Lab at Eurokleis is recruiting one junior researcher to support company’s activities in European Commission 7FP funded projects. JOB DESCRIPTION The successful candidate will carry out interdisciplinary research on the in-vitro reconstruction of financial markets and on the economic and financial assessment of research investments. The researcher will work in a team with mixed competencies providing also requirements for software tools development. The position foresees a three year term contract with the possibility of permanent renewal. JOB QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate should have (or near to complete) a Ph.D. in economics/finance/statistics/quantitative methods or a related area. The ideal candidate should have a strong and well-established expertise in the field of the empirical analysis and construction of stochastic models of financial time series, with a special emphasis on high-frequency data. Candidates with a good knowledge of modeling software, agent-based modeling and of the numerical techniques will be preferred. The ideal candidate should also have a good knowledge of empirical market microstructure as well as of various financial products and contracts and of the pricing of financial derivatives.
